It started in 2015 with one prototype
Engineering continued over back to back seasons two sides of the equator and Fern Ski-Bikes rapidly became a reliable alternative to traditional snow sports equipment.
2016 saw a heavily modified 16″ bicycle turn a snowboarder/mountainbiker into a full time rider.
In 2019 Fern enters the market with a small batch production ski bike’s designed for freedom and performance.
2017
New year new technology
Fern Ski bikes tests thin wall chromoly tubing and mountain bike suspension. We travelled to Darbandsar and Dizin Ski resorts in Iran for testing.
2018
Fern adopts aircraft quality materials for a lighter ride better suited to the mountains of Austria. The third prototype goes to SkiWelt in Hopfgarten, Austria for more than 200km of riding
